Camping & Backpacking : How to Build a Campfire
A campfire should be built with progression in mind, meaning that the fire should start small and build towards a bigger fire. Find out how to use birch bark as the base layer of a campfire with help from a recreational kayaking instructor and outdoor adventurer in this free video on building campfires. Expert: Dr. T. WTF with all the ads???
Nice video but I would have liked to see the fire rage a little. I know that wasn’t your intent but keep the viewer in mind. Again, nice video.
possibly one of the most straight forward to the point video on making fire in general
Thanks so much for this! I’ve always wanted to learn to build a campfire but the few things i’ve seen on it aren’t clearly taught. This IS! it has taken the mystery out of it, & made it look MUCH easier than the other things did! I’ve made notes from this & will try it asap. Thanks again.
yep use stone around it not to let it spread
