Need Trailer to Go Camping?
I have 2 questions:
1) What is the best type of trailer to buy for carrying camping equipment and supplies? (Not one of those pop-up camping trailers). I will be towing it with a regular minivan.
2) Where online is the best place to find a used one?

I don’t know what you’re planning to bring, but I imagine a lot of gear and a car load of passengers, but a trailer is expensive and a hassle to drive and you might be happier and save money adding either a roof rack and soft sided luggage bag or hard sided cargo box, both available from Yakima, to the roof of your van.

Wow, bravo for the effort. I guess it depends on what you will be bringing. If it is everything but the kitchen sink, I would suggest putting your money into a travel trailer. The smaller ones can be towed just fine with your van, and it comes with the sink!:)
I used to have an enclosed trailer. Just be careful not to get one too big for your van to pull or that will waste gas. Home Depot carries them but even the small ones are over $1000. I found mine at a garage sale. Check the local papers. Good luck!
try a U-haul. are you going camping or what? You are probably one of those people who think camping is done at a campground. and can’t do business in woods. do us all a favor and stay home in your trailer park
http://aliner.com/ for a great all solid sided pop up style trailer & their other products.. Keep in mind the typical minivan with trailer & contents & passengers will exceed Gross weight The suggested link offers light weight plus room & security….only 20 seconds to operate…..I did it at sport show…..after watching once…
